Everything and nothing; all of the useless stuff my brain comes up with that I can't fit in any other category. Beware; things in here may be a bit discombobulated.

Some might have noticed that the site wa down for the last several days. I apologize for that. It seems my previous webhost kicked the bucket without warning and their tech support remained unresponsive after repeated attempts to contact them. So I've since switched to a different host. This means that some email and quite a few images were lost. I've been scouring the cache folders trying to restore some of them, but at this point I think that it might be a loss for recovering the images. |

I was on one of my favorite websites, military.com, and came across a
very interesting article asking this very same question. After five
years what do we have to show for the "War on Terror"? I think the
author makes some very good points about how things stand without
letting politics cloud the issue. So without further ado, here is the
link:

Well this is it, my first real entry on the blog, so welcome
everyone. I apologize about the portfolio section not being live, but I should
have it up and ready in the next couple of days. For about 99% of the stuff
joomla (the software powering this blog) worked fine, but there are still some
issues that are driving me nuts with the styling in areas joomla uses tables.
Oh well, with time I'll get it figured out and it only affects the placement of
the login button on the login page. Feel free to leave comments. With this done
I should be able to get back to my middle Egyptian studies. I need to get back
to work; lunch only lasts so long. |
