 Haven't posted on the blog in ages, so I'm going to make a few updates
today. If you haven't already tried it, get Portal from Valve. It's one
of the most awesome games I've played in ages. Full of good puzzles,
challenges, and tons of humor I'd had much fun while playing through.
Now if only fan made maps could be used. This game is short but is
screams for more content. Follow that up with Half Life episode 2, and
well you have quite a bit of time wasting to do. Still it didn't quite
capture me in the same way that portal did. (image complements of
Wikipedia) I think one of the best bits is the Companion Cube. The
whole humor of dragging around a white box with a heart on it and
actually needing it for the puzzles was great. Combine that with the
endearing innocence of the automated turrets and veiled evil of GlaDOS
and you have quite a game going. Now to get back to those
achievements...
